We were traveling to Virginia Beach when we saw the sign for El Crucero y Taquería and decided to stop — and we’re so glad we did! The food is absolutely delicious, with a homemade flavor you can truly taste. The tacos have a unique and authentic flavor, just like something you’d get at home. If you enjoy real, home-style Mexican food, this place is a must-try. We’d definitely come back. A hidden gem!“

“I am giving this a five simply because it is not a franchise and is owner run. The staff are always friendly. Twice a year we have a large group of friends that worked together at days inn years ago and we meet to stay in touch. No body ever wants to change the place. Food is affordable and we are all comfortable there. Nothing extrodinary nothing bad just a comfortable place to eat that won't break your budget and you can get breakfast anytime.“

“We came about this place unexpectedly. We were exploring Snow Hill + Pocomoke City and got lost. Husband got the meatloaf, cucumber salad, I go the steak+cake. Everything was cooked perfect and tasted great. We ate at the bar + the bartender rocked the service. He was fabulous.“

“We have been to Ray's many times over the years & it has always been a nice experience. Tonight was the WORST service we have ever had. On top of that, the stuffed shrimp was overcooked & only 4 shrimp for $35. For the amount of $ spent, it was highly disappointing all-around.“
