The barista was so friendly, and the food was excellent. I got the scrambled egg with toast, chicken panini, dirty chai, and cortado. Good cafe in the area ?

While looking for a cafe recommendation I saw this place pop up on Google Maps, and it did not disappoint! The pastries remind me of the Spanish bakeries I visited in Florida, so it's great to have one in the neighborhood. The pastries are flavorful and flakey. I'm not a coffee drinker, but the Nutella frappe hit the spot. I'll definitely be back to try more items.

Caramel Macchiato made to perfection. I highly recommend this coffee shop to all! Great service, nice atmosphere and very affordable. Only downside is they are closed on Sundays

Went to a Puerto Rican cafe! Got a bagel with cream cheese (cream cheese was lowkey sweet which was a nice surprise!) and ordered one of the pastelitos(?) with nutella. Super flaky and just a enough crunch! The amount of nutella was small but for me it was te right amount! Definitely want to come again?

Great people and great drinks/food ! I recommend to anyone in the area. It's hard to find good coffee in Newport

My coffee was great, but I was baffled to learn that they don't have any decaf options! This sadly meant that half of our group wasn't able to order anything and we left with only a few people satisfied.

We stopped in after lunch before heading home, I wanted a coffee and saw this in the plaza , the service was a little slow, but very friendly I was okay with that. I order a white chocolate iced latte , and a hot latte at another flavor . I waited a bit and we got our lattes , I took a sip and I can’t believe how it tasted , I nearly puked, it tasted like coconut water or something in the syrup , and heavy heavy heavy of syrup , I specified not too sweet. Maybe she has t been making drinks that long but I really think this was the worse coffee I’ve had so far. I get coffee I don’t leave bad reviews I want to support businesses truly. But seriously I don’t recall tasting coffee. A mouthful of syrup I even lifted the straw and it just was not it.

Went here for the first time the other day and it is a very cute spot. Friendly and the coffee was good (not overly sweet, which was perfect with how I ordered my drink)! And best part .. the pastries.. ?? we had a Nutella filled, and my favorite was the quesito filled pastry and the guayaba filled pastry. The dough of the pastry was flaky but not dry. You could taste the hint of butter too. Yum !

When it comes to coffee, I can always appreciate a local spot because I get to see what uniqueness it's offering through the menu. Upon entry, I was kindly approached and greeted. I asked for a moment to look at the menu and did not feel rushed to order at all (we love that!). I ended up ordering a Quesito for my pastry and Angie's Specialty for my drink. I was asked if I wanted my quesito warmed up or not, I asked for it to be warm. The quesito was buttery, flaky, and just the right amount of sweetness. Angie's Speciality was perfect! It was sweet, but still strong in coffee aroma and flavor. I love when there is a balance between sweeteners and coffee because at times an overload on syrups will kill the coffee flavor, but Angie's was a success. This is a cute and spacious spot to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee and/or get some work done.
