I think if we went on a normal day instead of Father's Day it would have been 5 stars. My boyfriend's dish was supposed to have broth in it, of which it had none. It took a very long time to get our food, but when it came it was delicious.

Loved the dumplings, I would have liked more filling in them as it was very flavorful for such a small item. My drunken noodles were very tasty, it all seemed fresh and made with love. I also think it's of note that the flowers on the tables were real! To me, it stands out as most welcoming taking care of real flowers in the dining area instead of how easy it would be to place fake ones on the table. It's a small detail that stands out to me.

Our poor server was so busy doing to-gos and serving the entire dining room. I don't think this small business is used to the influx of customers that holidays bring. But for that, I am understanding. I would try again on a normal day. It tasted so authentic and felt like they really cared about their food and business.

Amazing experience. We went here on my son's birthday as where we were originally going to go was not open on Sunday. Every aspect was awesome. The attitude and presence of our waiter was incredible. The atmosphere and music was very relaxing. Then, there was the food...absolutely incredible. The best Thai food I've ever had. Our whole family very much so enjoyed our time here. We are grateful the other restaurant was closed so that we were able to participate in one of our best dining encounters. Phenomenal, exquisite, and exceptional!

Love their Drunken Noodles

Vegan options but this is one of those places that can’t make a papaya salad without the fish sauce because it’s apparently abominable to do so. 😂 Everyone loved the food including the picky nephew. Bathroom is relatively clean. Beautiful live plants really add to the place’s ambiance. Friendly service.

We have a new favorite Thai restaurant! We’ve been all over Hampton Roads trying different restaurants and Anya has the best Pad Thai we’ve ever had. We also tried the red curry and the Thai Dumplings. All of it was amazing. Xola, the waitress, was very friendly and helpful and provided amazing service. We will definitely be back!!!

I ordered the lunch Panang with dumplings and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Complex and light, savory, sweet and spicy. Perfect portion for lunch.

I ate here with 2 of my friends for dinner. Our server was very kind and attended us in a timely fashion. However, it took longer than expected for our food itself to arrive. Both the appetizers and entrees arrived after nearly 30 minutes of waiting each.

Beyond the slow service, our food was delicious; good portions and decent value. My entree, the panang curry fried rice was very good. The massman curry was out so I'd like to try it next time.

I would like to believe the long wait was a fluke, and as such would be willing to return to Anya Thai. For anyone in the area who likes Thai food or is curious to try it then I'd recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the Tom Yum soup and Chicken Pad Thai. I was very pleasantly surprised.. My food was carefully bagged such that my food didn't displace while driving home. I live across town and even stopped and my food was still hot when I arrived home. I have ordered Pad Thai from several local restaurants always being disappointed at how dry it was and lacking in texture. I enjoyed every bite feom this restaurant where the dish was moist and flavorful until the end. With the soup and Pad Thai, I felt satisfied that they gave me my money's worth and didn't skimp on the veges and meat like most area restaurants. The hostess was delightful. Very pleased customer.

Always clean and food made to your heat preference. Tom Kha soup here is the best than anywhere else I have been.
