Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant recently. The dining area was comfortable and well maintained, and the staff was courteous and professional. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Overall, everything exceeded expectations and I would happily come back again.

The Beef Bulgogi was excellent! The yum yum sauce is very good on the brown rice. The service was horrible. The young man that works up front has zero people skills. Hes not friendly at all & you won't get a smile out of him. Its service like that, that makes me miss the good old days when businesses actually cared if you came back again. If you eat there, you will only get styrofoam boxes to eat from which is fine w/me. I think I'll go back but only for take out.

We ordered the spicy chicken ramen and i kid you not, it is the same as the Shin noodles thats sold in walmart for $1.79. Feel free to save your money. There is no protein in it. Their korean spicy chicken is straight up general tso chicken but its just chicken and rice, nothing else (false ads). We have enjoyed korean food but this is paying premium price for cheap store packaged food.

Honest Review of Bob Bob Korean Grill (Takeout Order)

I decided to try Bob Bob Korean Grill for takeout, and unfortunately, it just wasn’t for me. I ordered the Bulgogi with brown rice and steamed vegetables, plus a side of cucumber kimchi since they don’t offer traditional kimchi.

The portion of Bulgogi was satisfying, but the flavor leaned more on the sweet side. I personally prefer a more savory, balanced flavor, so this didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The steamed vegetables were skimpy in portion and didn’t have much flavor—nothing to brag about. The brown rice was good, especially with a little soy sauce. However, the cucumber kimchi was disappointing both in flavor and portion size.

For comparison, I normally go to Sami’s Korean Kitchen, where the Bulgogi, traditional kimchi (huge portions!), and overall flavors are consistently delicious. The only downside is that Sami’s is farther from my job, which is why I tried Bob Bob in the first place.

Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to Bob Bob Korean Grill. Their flavor style just doesn’t match what I enjoy. But food is subjective—if their style works for someone else, that’s perfectly fine. It just wasn’t for me.

Service is poor. Noodles taste like the 99 cent ones from the store with a spicy broth. Dumpling were okay. No dine in appliances they give you everything to go for dine in.

Very respectful and honest. I added a tip but accidentally miscalculated the total and yet they still fixed it to the amount I tipped instead of over charging. On top, the food is always excellent and they are always on time

Way too expensive for what it is. Food's nice but I could get more chinese food from a mall cheaper than this. Nicer korean places are in the area too for cheaper prices and better food.

Food was great, we had the spicy chicken and fried dumplings. I don't have a whole lot to criticize except that I was surprised that the banchan didn't come with the food and had to be purchased (I get that maybe a lot of people around might not like kimchi but..... it's a korean place).
Also, hopefully at some point in the future the food can be served on dishes for dine in customers instead of takeout containers. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience foodwise, I would probably prefer to pay a bit more and go to Sami's instead tbh.

1000% dissapointment.

Very limited menu, still operating like its covid, take out service with restaraunt prices. When I walk into a restaurant i want to be seated be served with real silverware and plates, not cancerous styrofoam. If I wanted takeout, I would have gone to a drive through. Customer service, non existent, food mediocre at best, hot in the restaraunt, bathroom had exposed wires dangling from light fixture. Had the beef bulgogi with rice and sesame salad and shrimp tempura. the beef bulgogi tasted like it was made with jar bulgogi sauce, rice good, salad was bagged and gross. Shrimp tempura seemed premade. Highly dissapointed. Have haf much better from a food truck or people selling out of their cars.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered through DoorDash from them on 5/29 and on 5/30 I woke up in a great deal of pain. Long story short this place put me in the hospital for 2 days with food poison. I’m still trying to recover. 0/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!! And of course they got my order wrong as well.

My wife and I drove from Yorktown to go to Bob Bob’s for the first time on Saturday 10/26/24. We arrived at 6:30 PM. We went in and sat down to order and were told “we could not be served because they had a large order they were preparing and did not think they would have time to prepare our order before they close at 7:00 PM”.
