Whoever is in the back did an amazing job with dinner tonight!! I had the lemon pepper flavored salmon, white rice, corn on the cob, broccoli, and a buttered bread stick. Everything was fresh, hot, seasoned right, and delicious to taste. Salmon was seasoned, light and fluffy, while the skin was nice and crispy. Really, I don’t know about the atmosphere because my order was a takeout. Since there are no other fast food restaurants around this area that have seafood, it’s always nice to be able to pick something up and take it to our moms. They love it and don’t have the ability to get out and go on their own. The staff at the Captn D’s on Jefferson Ave in Newport News deserves all the positive kudos they can get!

1st time visiting. Was excited because I remember Long John Silver. Well this isn't LJS. The Service was friendly and helpful. The Food was average. Platter Fish, Shrimp, Chicken, hush puppies, and a Side. It was okay not bad, not great. (And Surprisedly the Chicken had the most flavor, lol). The Price was excellent around $6.50. Now, the negative. The Restaurant really needs some corporate help. It had a worn, old look to it. That made you not want to sit down and eat in...
