I've been eating at this restaurant since 2018 or 2019. I found them when Lion of Judah in Hampton shut down. I don't think the bad reviews are fair and the 3.6 rating does not represent CG Delights fairly. They should have atleast 4.3/4.4 right aside other restaurants in the area. Oxtails always tender, vegetables never overcooked, meats in general all tender great flavor and cooked all the way through. That review saying someone had their shirt off has to be full...
I had spicy shrimp curry, cabbage, rice and peas, plantain, and coco bread. The curry had good flavor not super spicy so that was good for me. Rice and peas were nice and the cabbage wasn't over cooked or oily. Coco bread was nice and soft. I would say the shrimp was a tad over cooked but still decent. We have driven past this place for years but finally decided to give it a shot.Not disappointed at all.I had the jerk chicken and my wife had the curry goat. We split a beef patty as well.I left with a very full tummy and was actually disappointed that there was nothing left for me to take home.Absolutely recommend
