Service was horrible. The waitress demeanor was like she didn't want to be there. It took so long for our food all the while there were only 3 tables full including mine. Top it off there was a serious lack of cleanliness. Cob webs all over. I hade to wipe my table. Just ?. FLORIDA CHEDDARS IS AMAZING. Thankfully I've been there first and know that this isn't a representation of this restaurant. DO BETTER

Went for the first time in years. This is not a "cooking from scratch" kitchen. Ordered potato soup and it came out cold, sent back and returned it heated up on the microwave. Service was very slow for no reason. Waitress forgot to bring drinks, forgot sauces, was not helpful resolving food complaints. Worst was that the entrees came before the kids meals and appetizers. Complained to staff that were not helpful and apathetic. Terrible experience.

Today, my husband and I went to the restaurant located in Newport News and it was the worst experience. The glasses and flatware were flat out dirty. The French Fries were dark and mushy. My Corn had Broccoli in it. My husband's Monte Cristo was burned. The little boy at the next table had a burned Grilled Cheese Sandwich. I informed the waitress of my displeasure and she did not get the manager or offer any type of help except for giving us plastic flatware, which she put them on the table and said that she would be back with the check. My date out was a Nightmare! People, Beware!

Our party of nine went to Cheddars and were told that there would be about a 30 minute wait. After 45 minutes they tried to seat us all at a table meant for 6.When I asked the manager to push one of the empty tables against ours I was told that it was against company policy.At that point we just left and went to Chick-fil-A for dinner.I give Cheddars a 0 for service and won't be going back anytime soon.

Hold Up Wait a Minute. This was my first time at a Cheddar's at 54 years old. Let me say that I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of food. The service was excellent and the dining room beautiful. I'm a brick and beams type of woman so I felt right at home. A very very good place to dine. No wait and the food came hot and fresh. I had the Chicken Alfredo (add grilled shrimp). It was flawless. Shout out to the kitchen staff as well. I will be back to try the ribs ASAP!. They looked scrumptious!!
