*WARNING* THEY REFUSE REMAKES AND REFUNDS

I saw a previous review that states to taste your drink before you buy because they don’t do refunds or remakes and it’s true!! No where in their establishment that I saw do they advertise that refunds and remakes are not allowed. They should really put up a sign and make it visible to the public.

My husband and I always come to this establishment whenever we go to Patrick Henry since we see it as supporting a smaller business and it’s convenient that’s it’s already in the mall. I’ve never been disappointed with my drinks until this trip. I ordered a white mocha with oat milk no whip. I paid (paid extra for oat milk and a card processing fee) and we didn’t even get past the Pandora store next door before I took my first sip and was grossed out. It tasted so bad like sour unflavored bean water. It didn’t even taste like coffee. I was unsure so I had my husband taste it too and he insisted we turn around and request a remake. We turned around and the male owner who already seemed irritated asked me “what is it?”. I explained to him my drink tasted off and if it were possible for a remake. He tells me word for word, “There is a trash can right there you can throw it away!”. In shock I just stare at him because he talked to me as if I committed a crime asking for a remake but the crime here is they took my money for something I couldn’t even drink. Then he brushes me off and tells me to talk to the lady owner who made my coffee and then goes to stand to the side and watches us. We go up to the lady and I apologize and tell her there is something wrong tasting with my drink and that I know I paid extra for oat milk but I don’t want a refund I just want a remake and maybe the oat milk went bad so I’ll just take regular milk. She then proceeds to tell me that I can BUY ANOTHER drink. That they DO NOT do refunds or remakes. I have never been refused a remake in the food service industry. If something is made wrong or the taste is off you should always offer remakes before offering a refund to your customers because that is how you redeem yourself as a business.

I’m upset that I wasted 13 dollars coming here and another 11 dollars going to Starbucks right after because the coffee here was so bad. All I wanted was a good coffee with good customer service and it’s sad that I ultimately had to go to Starbucks to get it.

Ms.Liz, is the best. She has the most welcoming energy!! I love her so much. She always remembers my order no matter if I come back 4 months later. Her coffee is amazing and always right. Will drive daily 20+ minutes just to see her smile. Thank you Ms.

I got the turtle mocha and vanilla latte and almond croissant ?. We liked everything, coffee could have been a little hotter, but the customer service was great. Cute little coffee shop in the mall.

THEY TOOK MY MONEY.!!!!
Please taste before you pay, they will not remake. My iced coffee had too much syrup, I asked for a remake. They refused and suggested I pay .75 cents for an extra shot. As I was still being agreeable to this purchase, I went to pay with my card. They wanted me to buy a cookie as well to make the total to 1.00 to offset THEIR COST for credit card fee. (By the way my original cost include a card fee)
At this point I just asked them to throw the drink away because I could not drink it. I didn’t feel I should pay all this money(for a cookie, a shot and card fee.) So I lost money and they lost a long standing customer.
I’ve been going to this establishment since the 90s when they were located at the Hampton Coliseum Mall days in Hampton.

I go here when I go to work with my sisters it's the best places to get some food in the moring and drink I love there fruit smoothie when I go back imma get it again the coffee is the best I recommend you should stop there first

The manager was super rude towards me , his workers are nicer than him. He needs to take notes from them. Will not be coming back.

Great coffee and some of the best service you can get. This is the only reason to go to Patrick Henry Mall.And to the people complaining about getting talked to because they are touching the mugs, I don’t blame her. They have to be protective as they are trying to make coffee and make sure items don’t get broken/stolen at the same time. As my parents always told me you look with your eyes, not your hands.

So the Indian lady at this location is a mug troll. She is being mean to everyone. Someone needs to stop her. She has become unhinged.She yelled at us for looking at the mugs. We were going to purchase one, but we had to leave because she made us so uncomfortable.

A lady is really protective over them cups ? I took a photo to ask my husband if he wanted it and she yelled at me, my sister and mom ?. We left without coffee. Idk what that was about she was acting like the Beast when Bell touched her rose
