My shrimp was over done. Not saying it is terrible but, it could be much better. For the price, disappointed.

Outstanding food, great views, and our server Kim was amazing. Had the oyster Rockefeller, stuffed flounder and seafood platter, all were delicious.

Liz was an awesome server! We were a party of 8 or 9! She did an awesome job! Drinks were great and NOT watered down! Food was excellent! Pricing is very fair!

Waitress was slow and mumbled. Calamari was wonderful. Rest of the meal was disgusting. Cold, burned, either flavorless or gross. Say there waiting to eatThe view was breathtaking

The food was not good and they got our orders wrong. Give yourself two hours to eat that is why we did not send it back. Afraid we would not eat before midnight. This restaurant is the slowest. It over 20 mins to get a beer and ordered our took over an hour to come out. Not again.

We arrived with another couple for dinner and cocktails. Chelsea was our server, and even though she was new, she took get care of us all meal long.Food to a bit longer than normal to come out, but we are assuming that it's St. Patrick's day staffing issues. The food was hot and delicious. The views are fantastic. Recommend the fried shrimp and fried oysters, which both were very lightly battered.

Came in on a Friday night for dinner, took over an hour to get our food. Server was very kind but very forgetful and slow. There were less than 5 parties total in the building with other servers attending to the others. Food was not great, and the drinks were not good at all. Not worth the money we paid.

I normally get the salmon or seafood platter. This time I got salmon stuffed with crab meat. It was delicious. I definitely recommend.

We ordered crab dip as an appetizer. Minimal crab and a taste that wasn't worth the effort of a second piece of bread. And, it was delivered after the entree because of a kitchen foul up, as told to us by the server. Our entree was the combination of breaded/fried shrimp and oysters over a slaw base. I'll give it a passing D, although it left a bad taste in my mouth -edible but barely.A baked-potato side was delivered a few minutes after the entree.Cole slaw was no more than shredded cabbage but the dressing was minimally on the top and not mixed throughout.A bottle of beer was delivered without a glass and wasn't cold enough. We told our server that we thought the meal was bad, yet a manager or "cook" didn't visit our table. My wife and I wouldn't consider returning to Crab Shack on the James.
