The food was well seasoned and the portion sizes weren't lacking. The wait staff could have been more attentive, but not a deal breaker for us. The restaurant sits right along the water, so it's the perfect place for a date night. I would definitely patronize The Crab Shack on the Jsmes again.
Beautiful experience. Sat outside and watched the sunset over the james while we had a nice dinner. Food was good, our waitress was on the spot and very friendly. Definitly recommend
The quality of the broiled seafood platter was mediocre regarding taste. There was also a limited number of items (i.e. only ONE mushroom cap & just 2 or 3 shrimp). It's not worth the $28.00 price & I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The restaurant needs to add shades/blinds to the outside dining area/patio. All of the guests had to move to other tables due to the heat & the sun.
