Food is delicious and a reasonable price. Grandma need some help up in there but does her best under the circumstances.

It was my first time coming here, fish and shrimp was good could use a little more seasoning. Other than that great size portions for little amount of money, I will come back!!

My food was delicious and plentiful. The only issue is as most reviews suggest the lady at the counter is definitely sassy or indeed rude. Interpretation depends on you. I thought she was sassy. She's there by herself taking orders and cooking. Be prepared to wait and BRING CASH!

Quite possibly the best fried fish I've ever had in my life. Looks like the entire place is run by one woman and she does an amazing job. Portions are huge and the food is perfect.

Good food, good service, reasonable prices and clean. The atmosphere was not as important for take out. We will return often.

When you can't close the box you know its Real! This was a hidden secret gem ? untill she moved to this new location near New Market. (O. G. customers know where this store was before she moved) but the food is still good and the owner is still fiesty! Still good people. Just plan on coming to the store to order because she still don't answer the phone for nobody lol. Boss.

Was led to this seafood based on the reviews from its website. The owner, an elderly woman, manages the entire kitchen. She is a bit brash; however, she ensures that each customer is waited on and served in the order of their arrival.Their seafood is fresh, and the fish portion sizes are huge. You won't be disappointed! Their catfish, whiting, and flounder dinners are cooked to perfection.Three huge pieces of fish, with fries, hush puppies, and condiments for $12...you can't beat it!

The lady that runs this place was rude and disrespectful to my children. Not deserving of anyone's money no matter how the food taste. The food is good just like any other Chinese seafood restaurant. My family noticed how prejudiced she is to people of ethnic background.

This is an excellent place for fried seafood. The price is very reasonable. There was only one nice lady doing everything but she was keeping up somehow. Mostly a takeout restaurant with a couple of booth. Probably needs to but in better lightning because place is a little dark. Food was impressive if you enjoy different types of fried fish, scallops, and shrimps! I will return. Cash only at this place!

The only place I go for seafood in Newport News, it's always made fresh when you order, so meals are hot.
