Love this place but it's a little on the warm side here. If it were cooler it'd be great.
Very average habachi grill. Not terrible, but nothing special about it. Far too expensive though, hence 2 stars for service.
Wanted to try a new place… Waitress could not answer questions about the menu told us one thing and as we googled it it meant another thing. Tofu order did not come as the menu stated, Seabass was split in very thinly portioned out did not receive the rice with the dinner,. Just wasn’t a good experience at all a $30 entrée that may have been worth only 15 seeing as though we didn’t get everything that was included. The miso soup and salad was good though.
The cook didn't listen to how the food should be prepared. Overcooked steak, when asked to remove medium well, he cooked it well done. Well done food was undercooked. She'll fish allergy, they out shrimp next to that food. It's not a place I would spend money at again. They rushed us to get in and order. Messed up the orders. I'm not sure the cook knew how to handle a large group. The food wasn't flavored even after asking him, too.
Not a very good experience at all.
Enjoyed lunch here with a client! Although we walked in during lunch & on a Friday we were able to be seated quickly. The server was attentive and ensured our drinks stayed full until the meal arrived! I enjoyed my pinto box and although the portions looked small they were pretty filling.
They have so many different types of sushi. The bartenders were great and they make great drinks.
made a reservation for mother’s day just to get there and them tell me i never made a reservation. i originally had a reservation for sunday and called to change the reservation to saturday at 4pm. once i arrived they acted as if i hadn’t even had a reservation for sunday! the older man and young lady didn’t even care and acted as if i called the wrong location despite me showing the proof of the phone call. this was my go to hibachi spot but i won’t be back!
Came here for my besties birthday. Had a great time. But make sure the people in your party are on time!
Noisy but lots of fun
So the chefs was great, but the manager James was horrible instead of explaining things to us, he was yelling and raising his voice and being rude his host is better than and that’s not acceptable being in a food industry. You gotta learn how to talk to people.

Server forgot about our table. We had starters after dinner service. Had to go get our own drinks from the bar and find our check at rhe host stand. Food quality and portions are not what they were years ago.
Our cook was Antonio was Amazing !!
I recently visited Hayashi and had a good experience overall. Our server, Maddy, was literally the best. Ive never had a server so attentive. This was the best service ive had in a while tbh. I’ll be returning just to have the pleasure of Maddy being our server again. & the chef Fidel made the experience that much better. They were both a joy to be around.
Best restaurant in city center
Asked for hibachi seating and was told it would be about 20 minutes minutes to be seated. Little odd considering how empty it was, but maybe yall didn't want people looking like they weren't being attended to at an unused station. 3 minutes later, another couple came in and asked for 2 at a hibachi table and we're seated immediately.
