La Fiesta Mexican Grill

Went in this afternoon with my Boyfriend & Son, and all k can say is AMAZING. The food was cooked perfectly and we barely even waited. And the service was top notch. I hate to say that we’ve always drove past not wanting to go in, but happy to say we will be coming back for more!!!

Amazing! I am “Wow’ed” by them. I was heading to Taco Bell but, then, decided to “do something different.” It was 2:20 pm. Sat at the bar and ordered Speedy Gonzales with beans to-go. But while I was waiting the owner, while serving others at the bar shots, asked if I wanted to try it. I’m not a drinker but they were all loving the taste of this brand that’s top shelf tequila called Padre Azul Anejo. They all had to tell me how to drink it. Regardless, it was SMOOTH. Yeah

Great Mexican restaurant with great selection of food and drinks. When I lived close, this was my go-to restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I definitely suggest La Fiesta!

Definitely my new favorite Mexican place. I’ve tried the ones around here, both chain restaurants and not, and this has been the best. The food is great and you get plenty. Love their burritos, and my kids absolutely lost their minds over the churros (which they’ve tried before at a few places over the years, and always thought they were meh). The rice is my favorite rice now (although it’s not spicy, just a heads up) and while normally I’d try to replicate it, their prices are great so I still haven’t bothered. I usually order delivery, and when they get here it’s still too hot to eat yet. And I have yet to get mushy lettuce or pico, or brown guacamole… it’s honestly impressive the level of care they take. It’s more like going over to your friend’s house and surprise, their grandma is visiting and she cooked too. I really don’t have a higher compliment than that.

Food was amazing and portions were great. I ordered chimichangas and the meat ratio was the highest I’ve ever had at a resturant. The guacamole, salsa, and white sauces were unique and tasty.

Service was attentive, kind and thoughtful. Carlos was our server and was great. Atmosphere was cozy. We appreciate the awesome experience and will be coming back.

It's ok, food was ok, and the music was very loud in the restaurant making it hard to hear each other when we tried to talk.

For the “owner “ to be asking multiple tables for more tips is wild to me . Make sure yall check yalls receipts.

Hands down my favorite spot for Mexican food in Newport News. The food is always fresh & done right, but the service is really what keeps us coming back!

I did not enjoy my good at all. I got a #10. Only ate a little of it, my husband took the rest along with some iv his home & ate it the next day. I don't think I'll be back.

Waiter “Heber” seems annoyed by customers and does not have the upbeat energy as the rest of the wait staff. Always have enjoyed this place, but “Heber” has pushed our group away.
