My favorite place when I’m in Newport News I love there food and next thing ima try is a chimi I was there yesterday but unfortunately I am pregnant and baby and I wanted pernil with yellow gandule rice and maduros lol. Food, people, staff and service is and always amazing.
I have mix emotions about this place . We order 2 mofongos one with grilled chicken that it was ok
And the other one was with pollo guisado.
When this service came out it was unpleasant because they give me 3 drumsticks that look like they were just boiled .
Me mofongo it self was really good.
Employees on their phone all the time.
They have plenty room for improvement.
I wish my pollo guisado was treated differently.

Really good food and nice people🤗 The Mofongo really went well with the stewed pork (a bit salty) and the burritos really was yummy and first time I tasted the way they prepared it! 👏
