Great welcoming atmosphere. Food was pretty good, great variety and not overpriced. Fresh. We had sides of Mac and cheese and collard greens and we really enjoyed them. Very attentive service. Very impressed.
I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant with more hospitality. On top of the amazing service the food was incredibly delicious, my only gripe is there isn't one where I'm from on the west coast.

Checked them out for the first time in Newport News. Caught them at a slow time before 5 on a weekday and I was the only customer.
Service was immediate and friendly at the counter to order. My son and I both wanted their legendary pulled pork. I got a platter (half pound) and son sandwich, I tried the collards for the first time with baked beans. My son got a side of fries....
