This was mine and my husband first time here as my favorite animal is a penguin, we had to stop by!! The food made me feel like a kid again! We will definitely be coming here again and can’t wait to start a family because this will be our lil spot when we have the chance to come to Newport News! The people there seemed to know everyone as they were older but that made us love it even more as we admire their friendly conversations among each others!

This is a fantastic little restaurant! The food portions are generous and absolutely delicious, and the price is extremely reasonable.

I ate there on a Monday, and the special was meatloaf, it was out of this world! I would also highly recommend the cabbage and mashed potatoes to go along with it too! 🤌

This is homestyle cooking and portions at it finest!

Also, the staff was super friendly and fast! I am definitely looking...

I love this place!!! I am so thankful my husband and son happened upon it, and then liked it so much, they brought me a couple of weeks later. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I had a hot dog, all the way, and was delighted that they use Nathan's hot dogs, like we do at home. The chili was awesome also. The crinkle cut fries were good. The first time my family ate here they got shrimp. The next time that I ate here my husband and I got the daily special, spaghetti...
