Mystic Jamaica Restaurant

They are very pleasant at this restaurant. The red peas soup snd patty was so good! Coming from NYC, this is probably the best JA restaurant on the Peninsula side of Hampton Roads you'll find. The other JA restaurants have been severely disappointing.

This evening was my first time visiting Mystic Jamaica Restaurant 🇯🇲 and it did not disappoint. I ordered the jerk chicken, a slice of Rum cake and Tropical lemonade. I couldn't eat it all because they really give you a lot to enjoy. I highly recommend 👌.

They have the best grilled shrimp I’ve ever had! The onions! The cabbage! The Mac n cheese! Seriously good food.

I ordered the red snapper, it was burnt and over cooked. The rice and peas were dry as well. The best items I had were the oxtails and the rum cake...oh, and cabbage was pretty ok. I love Jamaican cuisine, and this was not it - AT ALL!! The customer service wasn't bad, but it certainly could have been better. I was very disappointed and should've chosen another establishment to eat at.

Mac and cheese and oxtails were way to damn salty. The only saving grace was the cabbage. I'll never cheat on MP Island Cafe again.... 6.58 tax total on 2 meals... Make it make sense.... if you have high blood pressure don't risk it

Husband and I stop by here because we were craving some Jamaican Food and we heard some good reviews about this. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. When I tell you this was the best Jamaican food my husband and I have tried in the 757 it really is ! Food was seasoned to perfection it came out hot everything had flavored and the Mac and Cheese hit the spot. We will definitely be returning don’t mind driving far out for some good food !

I’ve been in the area for almost a year searching high and low for some authentic ackee & saltfish. This restaurant did not disappoint! The food was cooked to perfection and the staff were so kind. I’ll definitely be back!
