Cakes are always amazing but I’d like to comment on the young man who helped us. Went in with my daughter and 18mo old grandson. Guy had bagged up our cake but took it out and put it in a bag that would make it easy for my grandson to carry. This seems small but Hayden was so proud of himself, it’s the small things that keep people coming back.

Cake taste amazing! Not too sweet. Just the right amount. Simple design but that’s what makes this business great, got its own trademark. Online ordering is smooth and the staff in the store are friendly. Cake was ready on time for pick up. Great customer service!

Last week was my mom's birthday and my sister-in-law who lives in Georgia wanted to send her the cake as a gift so she ordered it online and my mom just had to pick it up. My mom is a 69-year-old lady and she doesn't speak English but she tries to. She went in and showed the receipt that my sister-in-law sent her to pick up the cake, and apparently they asked her if she wanted it in a box or in a transparent bag, my mom only said "bag" because that was what she can barely understand. The young woman who attended her only smiled mockingly but my mom didn't pay attention, then another one came out and between the two they talked and this one also smiled in a mocking way and two more people came out with the same attitude towards my mom. She feels bad and frustrated because they were obviously making fun of her so she grab the cake and ask her “did you speak Spanish” and the lady answer NO and my mom said “well me no speak English, thank you”. My mom just told me this and she was so sad when she told me, I can't understand how there can be so little empathy on the part of someone who works to serve the public. Please train your staff to be more human, I don't expect them to attend in Spanish but I think it has a lot of merit that someone like my mom tries to speak in another language that is not hers and that is not a reason for mockery but for admiration.I went there 3 times and all the time the cakes were delicious and the cake she get was amazing too as always but for me that is no the most important if I feel you guys don’t respect my mom as a client I don’t have any reason to come back to your business. Be better please.

I stopped by this evening around 6:30pm. The 3 young ladies up front were talking to eachother, no one greeted me, I spoke to one of them and she didn't even respond. The customer service needs some work. The cake is always good.

Greeted as soon as I walked in! Did an online order for my Valentine and it was quickly ready for pick up. Tastes as great as usual for a reasonable price as well. Lastly this shop is always spick and span. Will definitely be returning.

Shrinkflation at its finest! Still taste amazing but the Bundtlets have noticeably shrunk in size and stayed the same price.
Very unprofessional workplace, managers Jasmine, Tara, and Denise are rude, disrespectful, derogatory, and bullies. They’re ruining your establishment to the point workers aren’t coming in. Highly wouldn’t recommend working here.

Newport News Va store is a joke. Ordered a wedding cake a month out like they said had to be done. went to pick up the cake and the cake wasn't even started. 2 hrs later finally had a wedding cake. Only offered a $20 store credit. Well offered a full refund but wouldn't give me the cake. Hello. the wedding starts in 3 hrs we need a cake. There was no call or anything about them not being ready. Went back 3 times after being told the 1st time it will be ready in 30mins. After almost 2hrs later the cake was finally ready. I would think twice about getting your wedding cake at this location. No communication at all. Not very professional. Called today to see if they would do anything else and all I got was you can have a $20 store credit. That's it. Not very good customer service at all.
