Our family has been looking for a great Chicago Hot Dog place and finally we found Sam’s! Excellent food and welcoming staff.

first time eating here, I could not say enough about the food ,it was awesome, the service outstanding. but what really made my day was watching the staff meet everyone like family, seeing the regulars come in and being treated with such grace. I will be back.

Wonderful, friendly place. Dog friendly for outside sitting, and your dog may get a treat from the owner who loves dogs. The food is great, especially the chili with beans and the chili all beef hot dogs. Thank you for showing such hospitality to my husband and me and our big yellow lab Sampson!

I’ve never ever had a chili hot dog like that before, it was amazing. The best chili hot dog I’ve ever eaten honestly, everyone is so nice and sweet! Now.. I really can’t have any other hot dog from other places, it HAS to be from this place only lol. You won’t regret it!

Took a shot in the dark on what to eat on back to kentucky. So I googled restaurants.
Sams Hot Dog Stand came up.
Was not disappointed. Food was great. Employees was awesome. Great atmosphere. Easy to get too right off the interstate in Newport.

Outstanding friendly service, clean and casual atmosphere, affordable and delicious food. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner, or take-out.

Family friendly atmosphere, been here a few times and brought my family. Sam is the man and these hot dogs are probably one of the best in town. Definitely recommend the hot chili. My daughter quotes it as “this is the best restaurant ever”.

Just found this place today. I’m a hotdog lover and eat some of the best hotdogs I’ve ever ate. I ended up eating both of them before I can get out of the parking space.
