This restaurant has become my wife's and my choice for a dinner out in Newport News. The food is excellent. They have the best gimbap, bibim nengmyeon, and samgyupsal in the 757 in my opinion. The service is quick, they play a mix of kpop and ballads in the background, and the banchan is top tier. A true hidden diamond.

Sophia and I had lunch here next door to Emart, which was convenient for us since we planned to shop for groceries next door. This wasn't our first rodeo here either. In the past, we've joined friends for lunch or dinner and for the most part everyone enjoyed their meal. This time it was just the two of us. Would we leave full and happy? We immediately got seated upon walking in. They actually had a nice crowd during lunch. Within minutes, we were ready to order. For apps, it was fried mandu and we both selected beef bulgogi (lunch portion). Very good and had us full. The fried mandu had enough meat for the filling and the hot pepper paste (mixed with soy sauce) came in handy for dipping. The beef bulgogi was plentiful with white rice and the traditional Korean side dishes. Sophia's not fond of stuff like kimchi so there was enough for yours truly. Not a bad lunch at all. You can't go wrong with such hospitality. We'll be back again soon. Till next time :)

I love Korean food. The disappointment when I opened the chopsticks and they were used was the beginning of the bad experience. I ordered the BimBim Bop and Kimbab. The Kimbab was delicious, no issue with the dish. The BimBim Bop was utterly disappointing. The fried egg was under cooked, even the whites on the egg was raw. The meat was completely cold. The normal sides were completely different. The cucumber were slimy but I think it was in some type of sesame oil dressing. There is usually lettuce or spinach but none. The dish was not what I was expecting. I prefer Bali Bali or Sammi BimBim Bop.

Delicious! I keep reading the posts about unfriendly service, but our waitress was a gem and I am a firm believer that what energy you present with sometimes is what you get back! That aside the food was 100% authentic and almost as good as mom's! Can't wait to go back!

When I went there the lady Greeted and served us my nicely. She was very nice and patient when we asked her questions about food. And the Food ? man it has me Clutching my pearls its so good?.And the prices are great to ☺️.Vegetarian options: There were so dishes that didn't have meat and if I didn't want it the lady would take it out .Parking: Lots of parking places you can park really any were ??♀️??

The food was delicious and the service was quick! They were really accommodating with changing some things around in the menu for a vegetarian friendly option. Would recommend the kimbap and japchae without the meat if you are vegetarian. As well as the vegetable stir fry. The portions were a decently big size for the prices ?? 10/10
