Food was average Greek for Hampton Roads. The decor is in desperate need of updating. Service is top notch.

Sat in a booth next to the bus station. Staff putting dishes in the tub the entire time. Tub was literally 12” from my head.

I went here with my family one weekend and I wanted to highlight our server Alexis. She was great and attentive. She made sure we always had refills, which as a formal server is one of my pet peeves, and she treated us really nice through the whole process. The food was great and hot also. Keep up the great work Thanks!!!

Old rundown inside. Food is a level 2. Need a better cook. This place needs a lot of attention. I wonder how they stay open.

Very disappointed. Atmosphere was dull and outdated. While the waitresses were friendly it's was extremely forgetful. Minutes after leaving our table she had to come back and ask what our drinks were, mind you there were only 2 of us. The restraint was not busy, only 4 tables were seated and no one was waiting. There were also 3 other waitresses. This was a Monday night. The food came out warm to the touch. Delmonico steak was under cooked. Arties seafood platter not worth the price! You get a non seasoned bland piece of fried flounder, 2 fried shrimp, 4 very sml fried scallops and 1 crab cake for about $20. Nothing is seasoned in this place. The table next to us had burgers and the cheese was not even close to being melted. It looked like it had just came out of the cooler! Don't ask for the bread. You get a basket of cold sliced bread. Never going back. I always try to say something nice so here it is. Nice wait staff and the restaurant was clean.

BLUF: don't eat here if you're expecting a good meal! This has been a long standing family restaurant for years and seems to always haves good crowd..... I don't get it. Maybe when we go the cooks are having a bad day??? We've been here several times in all the years it has been in business. We only go when others choose this restaurant, otherwise we'd never go here. The food is mediocre at best and the prices are terrible for what they offer. There are a lot more restaurants in the area that have amazing food at less cost. Staff is very professional and friendly. We went for a friend's birthday celebration and it took over an hour to get our food and when we did the food was terrible. I'm not a huge steak fan; however, when you claim to be a steakhouse, you order steak. Such a mistake!!! My steak wasn't seasoned and was not cooked to order (I was told that they don't season their meat, I have to ask for it... really at a steak place? This info would have been helpful when I ordered it). Our loaded baked potato was cold, the shrimp tasted like they were fried in old grease and the canned green beans were terrible. Our friends ordered the Greek salads and they looked great, wishing I had ordered that.

Food was good - cooked exactly how I wanted it to be. My husband was excited about going to Steve's because it's one of his favorite places to go when he's visiting his family in Newport News. The service was good and the restaurant was clean.

Where to begin? Tables were dirty and sticky. The food was too salty and it all tasted as if had been sitting over night. It tasted processed and old. It almost seems as if they were opening cans and dumping the food on to the plates. It was warm on the outside and cold in the inside. The one pleasant thing was our waiter. He was polite and nice.

Have eaten here 3 times now. Had something different each time and haven't found anything I liked or would recommend. Plus, the fries have been soggy and the service subpar. Just can't give more than 2 stars.
