PLEASE CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENTS... I was told to reenter my card because payment didn't go through but my phone pinged saying the money was deducted. They stated their pos machine has been acting up and assured me that no money wasn't deducted from my account. That was a lie I went to my car called my financial institution which confirmed that the money was deducted I then went back into the restaurant spoke with the manager allowed her to hear and look at my balance and see that the money was taken off. She was never apologetic she actually looked like she was bothered and basically said because I was a returning customer she'll be able to do it for me just that time as if I didn't pay for it! Blew my mind really messed up my night and my craving for the ramen. About the quality of the food the ramen noodles you can tell they are not made fresh they are sticking together and dry as heck the broth had no flavor I literally had to try to add some depth and flavor but the eggs always delicious.

Was surprised how nice this place was. from the outside, I taught it was going to have the environment of a take out Chinese restaurant but it has a nice dining area. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was very good. The boiled egg in the soup was very sweet and salty. Would highly recommend this restaraunt.

I had a fairly large order via doordash. My dasher missed the 2nd bag. I called and advised them. David went out of his way to deliver the missing part of my order. I haven't been to tanpopo in ages since I first tried them years ago and back then it was disappointing but today I came back after hearing they significantly improved since then and I'm glad to say it wasn't fluff. Staff was a delight and the food took me back to when I was living in Washington and that's a high compliment for VA. Worth the visit alone or with friends. For the record. Hot sake pairs extremely well with the tonkatsu Ramen. I will be returning 🤗

Amazing time! Anna was taking care of us and just so attentive and sweet! The food was so delicious with so much flavor and a huge amount. Definitely give this place a try, we have been sleeping on it for too long and will be back regularly!
