Pam, CJ, Kevin and all the other grille employee's are amazing. The bartenders are very friendly and attentive and CJ knows his way around the kitchen. Man makes the best wings I've ever had in my 38 years. His steaks are cooked to perfection and I haven't had the opportunity to try a burger yet but that's next on my list. Overall I would definitely recommend the Garden Grille to any and all in the Yorktown/Newport News area!
Overall this hotel was really nice, clean and wonderful staff. I would recommend this hotel. The only problem was, the toilet was loud when flushing. It was a 20-30 minute drive to Virginia Beach. Which was fine. I stay at this hotel again. It may not be ocean front, but it's clean, comfortable and affordable.
Comfortable Hotel, pet friendly, family friendly, good base to visit both VA Beach & Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Has ample parking with a very nice patio for relaxation. Ice machine on the 3rd floor needs to be fixed. Hotel only does housekeeping on request, which is not a big problem, but they should still provide new coffee packets, cups, toilet paper, tissue etc. Staff are friendly & helpful. I did not eat breakfast in the restaurant, or use the pool/ gym.
