Food is absolutely delicious and some specs, but I have found that often you get leftovers from their menu from the day before. You can tell when you're getting leftovers. They're just not the same as fresh.

I've been to this restaurant several times before and have been very happy with the food and the service so hoping this was just a bad day for them. The food was...ok..., but the service was pathetic. We waited almost an hour to get our salads and the rest of our food was on the slow train from the kitchen. Our server was not at all attentive and other tables around us were getting much better service than we received.

Nice little local Italian place. Their red sauce is a tiny bit too acidic for me but still mighty tasty. I highly recommend the Trietto Alla Vodka. Besides that, I typically get the baked ziti, Melanzane Ripiene, chicken Parmigiana, lasagna, or chicken sorentino (when they have it).
After several times, always busy but completely on top of Things. Wait staff awesome ? Food always great and affordable! I travel 3 1/2 hours to go here before Shag dancing nextdoor!!!
Over 2 visits, I had the arancini, pasta siciliano, and the low-carb penne primavera. I felt both the arancini and pasta siciliano were overcooked; the arancini were hard, while the pasta was very soft. I think the arancini would've been improved greatly by having a bit of mozzarella inside and less time in the fryer.The penne primavera on my second visit was lovely, with the pasta cooked al dente accompanied by a nice mix of veggies and mushrooms.

Do not get the seafood, it made me and my girlfriend sick, it tasted terrible and we felt sick up after shortly after trying it. Tasted really fishy and the shrimp texture was disgusting, the clams were the only decent thing. Staff was friendly and replaced the order, the pasta was decent but we couldn't eat anything after trying that seafood, this place is way too expensive for the quality of food you receive, will not be visiting again.

Another Italian gem in the Newport News area, delicious entrees, something for everyone. Incredible hot complimentary garlic knots and a house salad with every entree. Great prices for great food, that what you get here. More restaurants should follow that recipe! Decent wine list and if it's your birthday you get a free cannoli. Stop in and you won't be disappointed. Another go to when I'm here on business and I believe it's family owned by two brothers from NY

Awesome food, but seating is limited and they are a small family owned restaurant that sometimes stops taking web orders because they are too slammed. When they are not too busy, the order is usually ready for takeout in about 30 minutes.
