Zen is an oasis for eclectic artists and outrageous performers. It's where you go to step out of the insanity of the outside world to enjoy the loving embrace of inclusive joy and companionship. The bar staff is kind and attentive. The food is tasty as hell. I really could never say enough great things about Zen. Whether you're a performer or a patron, 37th and Zen is a welcoming haven.

Edit: Going back, this place is a LOT nicer. It's a bit small in crowds but the nightlife on Goth Night is really cool.
The drinks are a little pricey BUT it's worth it for the community here.

Great place and community. They recently updated their menu and there is even more great choices than before. There is also something going on almost every night of the week.
