From start to finish, my experience at Blue Moon Taphouse was nothing short of spectacular, earning every one of these five stars. The service was truly great, setting the tone for an unforgettable day.
My lunch was elevated by Vernae C, who provided attentive and friendly service.
I went back for dinner and Joe continued the tradition of excellence at dinner, ensuring every need was met with a smile.
The highlight, however, was the supernatural delivery of the food. It felt like magic – perfectly timed, fresh, and hot. Every single dish was cooked to perfection, a testament to the skill in the kitchen.
And to top it all off, Ashley, the operations manager, made sure I was completely taken care of, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction that goes above and beyond. She even gave me a list of places to visit in Virginia Beach!
Ashley clearly runs a tight ship, delivering an amazing job all around!!! Blue Moon Taphouse is a must-visit in Norfolk!

I had such high hopes but they were tragically let down. Food was meh, $21 for crab Mac and cheese that looked like someone opened a pouch from a freezer; cheese was watery and I couldn't find any crab. Took two bites and I was done. Not to mention I had to wait twice as long as the rest of my table because my order was entered incorrectly (big difference between crab Mac and shrimp and grits), and I was still charged full price for my meal with zero remorse for getting my order wrong. It's really too bad bc it's a perfect location and I'd love to be a regular customer. They definitely have some work to do. Good beer though.

Average at best. Served cold fries but that was quickly fixed however the fries are nothing other than average Burgers were average and not a good value. Restaurant adds a 3% fee even though VA made it illegal to do so three weeks ago .

Took 12 minutes to be noticed another 7 minutes to get drink orders. The only plus was food took less than 10 minutes to arrive. But was subpar drinks felt watered down I had 3 cocktails and never felt a buzz. Waitstaff huddled into groups laughing talking and not paying attention to anyone
