We took a faculty candidate to this coffee shop for a meeting. Their was a male employee working on the morning of December 4th, 2025, who rudely let us know when we checked in 10 and 25 minutes after placing our orders and waiting that they had a lot of customers and didn't appreciate us checking on the order. All of my colleagues were quite shocked at their attitude and we felt that we were being punished for asking. Several queues of customers came in and were served before we got through. I personally felt really offended for my colleague who checked on the order and embarrassed for the business we chose to take this candidate to. We hope this is not a common occurrence.

Would not recommend getting a matcha here, it was very low quality as you can tell by the color of the latte and it had a slight fishy taste to it which also indicates lower quality matcha.

I came to the restaurant to pick up an order and waited for about 15 minutes, but no one attended to me. I am an Uber driver, and being on time is very important for me. Waiting this long causes both a waste of time and delays in delivery. I kindly ask that the staff be more attentive in this matter

My family and I stopped in while taking a look around ODU. Great little spot! Great coffee, food, and service! Definitely worth grabbing a cold brew if you’re in the area on a hot day.

So glad I found this amazing little coffee shop. It was within walking distance of the hotel and ODU. One of the best honey lavender lattes with oat milk I've ever had! The chicken salad wrap was perfect for lunch and if you are feeling adventurous try the ube latte with honey. Sweet but not overly sweet. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!

Stopped by a few days ago for coffee and breakfast and it was a fairly positive experience. The service was fast and friendly. The hot coffee was also at a great temperature to enjoy as soon as I received it.
Ordered a brewed coffee and a drip coffee on two separate visits.
Best coffee spot in the area. The staff are fantastic, welcoming, treat folks with respect - their people make you want to return.
Coffee was solid - I wish they didn't change their hours to open at 0800 but that's the smallest of gripes. Made it hard to grab my coffee on the way to work every morning, else I would gone there every morning of the week.

1st time trying Borjo. Loved it! My london fog was wonderful as was my hot & sour breakfast sandwich. The brown sugar scone was a great dessert and was great to have with a hot drink. Will be back.
