Check your bill...We dined in and we were charged a 18% service charge for a party of 3. After being told they had a veterans discount, I got upcharged and no discount. I then tipped the guy 20% not realizing that I got ripped off. We were the only table in the place but they stated that needed to hold my card to order food. This was 2.5 hours before they closed. I attempted to call several times and no one would answer the phone. I spent $100+ plus for 2 burritos and a bowl. The food was moderate. Nearly $20 for a burrito with no sides, chips, or salsa. I have eaten several a California style burritos in California, and this isn't the same. Maybe Moe's meets Taco Loco.Sour cream is $1.50guacamole is $3.50They have a bar with no fountain drinks.
Order number 752241105We got into town late the night of October 6th and placed an order on your website at 11:43pm. It said that you were open until 2AM. When we walked to your business we saw employees leaving and shutting the lights off. I would just like to make sure the transaction is canceled and I am not charged for the order.I have emailed twice and called 5-6 times no one picks up the phone. The money has been taken out of my account now. I would like a refund since we didn't get any food.If you're not open the website shouldn't allow people to place orders.
What a scam. I came here because I moved to the area 6 months ago and wanted something that wasn’t Chipotle or Moe’s. I order a giant carne asada bowl with extra carne asada. My total comes out to roughly $34 and I leave a $5 tip on a carry out order. Seeing the receipt, I was charged for a regular sized bowl and when I inquired, I was charged roughly $12 difference to make it a giant bowl. We’re now at $46. The waitress proceeds to hand me a 7inch aluminum container that would look more like a lunchable for a middle school teen. I try not to let it bother me but I quickly return and confirm that it was a giant and the waitress explains that they have no bigger containers. She said if I wanted I could get some extra rice in the side. What this restaurant serves in exchange for what you pay is an insult. Don’t get scammed here.
I honestly don’t understand this place. The food is SO expensive ($1.75 to add shredded lettuce to a burrito… yikes!), but the quality of the food is honestly mediocre at best. I will only go to this place when all other Mexican restaurants in the area are closed. The security guards outside of the restaurant are quite unsettling, too. I get that the restaurant is also a bar of some sort, but it’s the only bar downtown (besides Chicho’s directly across the street) that has to have security guards posted up outside of it which feels pretty uncomfortable when you’re just going there to order a burrito. The place is also unbearably loud at night, and wait times are pretty bad too. I had to wait 30 minutes for just a smoothie one night. It seems to me that the owner of the place is more interested in appealing to bar goers than running a restaurant, which is confusing since the place is obviously branded as a restaurant. You wouldn’t even know that the place is a nightclub/lounge without going inside the place, and even then, it’s not obvious until you see people headed to the back of the restaurant behind the kitchen. It’s beyond me how they fit anything back there that’d be large enough to resemble anything close to a club. The owner also just kind of hovers around everyone all night and doesn’t bother to interact with literally anyone, never smiles/welcomes anyone, and always has sunglasses on at night inside of his dark restaurant… which gives off a really weird vibe. It’s just a really odd place.
Food is just great and they’re always very nice. Favorite burrito spot in Norfolk by far. Only drawback is the hours of business but for the greatest burrito in the area it’s all good.
Worst experience we ever had and I’ve been living in Virginia for the last 10 years. I’m a restaurant owner myself and I never treated anyone the way they treated us. We were the first ones to order and paid 75 dollars for THREE Burritos while waited 45 mins cause our order “got mixed up”. I will report the owner for inappropriate behavior towards myself and my cousin as well as their security guards that were trying to kick us out before ever getting our order. What they didn’t know is that my family is well rooted in the city of Norfolk and I will be making it a personal matter to make sure that this establishment gets the punishment it deserves. They discriminate against different races, are overpriced and our NOT worth the trouble. Employees are rude and disrespectful. We spent 300 dollars for nothing. Please do not go there and spend your well earning money. It’s not worth it.
Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been living in Norfolk for the past ten years and have never experienced anything like this. We paid 75 dollars for THREE BURRITOS while waited for them for 45 minutes!!! Never gotten an apology instead we were treated terribly by all of the employees and almost got kicked out for waiting for the order while they said that the order got “mixed up”. We spent more than 300 hundred dollars in the establishment and got treated like trash. My brother works for the city of Norfolk and thank god he does cause I will be pursuing this issue further more. They discriminate against every other race also. Please do not spend your hard earned money on this establishment, it is NOT worth it.
We order our food from Grubhub and while my sister got the food! My was right and my mom and sister food were wrong and we had to contact Grubhub and told him what happened and they were going to fix it! But I’m mad because Mr Grubhub ran away and I was going to have a little chat with the person but I want an answer and I want them to apologize and how sorry that they got our order wrong and I will contact the ceo president of this restaurant because the employee wants to play a silly sick game with the Grubhub drive and that’s not nice to do to a customer and I won’t go back!!!
Will never in my life eat here again. Was charged $47 for two drinks and two regular burritos listed for $11.99 each. Counter guy couldn’t understand English so wasn’t worth the fight. Then the burritos were basically cold ingredients stuffed in a tortilla and then heated up. Pure dog food.
Quick service, open late, great drinks

Best burrito i have ever had in virginia. I eat for a family of 5 so the burrito size is amazing. Flavor is off the walls. And the green hot sauce that you can order with it is AMAZING.
I gave them 5 stars three years ago. I'm giving them one star because of the service and because I ordered street tacos with cilantro and guacamole, steak burrito with no beans and I got lettuce instead of cilantro, they forgot my guacamole, and beans were in my burrito. Neither I nor someone else that came in after me was greeted when we got to the front to order. Food is still good just poor customer service and the vibe (cleanliness) there isn't like it was when they first opened.
Call to place an order the young lady said they weren't accepting orders over the phone and that we needed to go online, so we did. Went to pay for the order but we could only pickup the order the following day. Had to call back and the young lady again tried to say she couldn't take the order, so she put someone else on the phone. Long story short our order was all wrong: 2 sauces, no napkins all the side orders were found in our food and the young lady was so RUDE when we called. But food was ok but for $70 for 3 burritos I wouldn't recommend unless starving.
Great food, reasonable prices. I like the atmosphere. I think it's a pretty much a downright honest burrito place.
Loved my burrito from here!!! One of the best burritos I’ve ever had and a huge size. The churros were soooo good too if you want a sweet treat. I ate my burrito during my college lecture and it really turned my day around. Great food.
