3 stars because all though the food is amazing and freah, even when yall are supposed to be open yall arent. Recently i went there and a sign on the door said opens at 12….i got there at 215, called the one in va beach, they asked someone what time norfolk location opens and they said 230. There was someone inside so i decided to wait until 240 and still didnt open. I live in Portsmouth so when i do come over the tunnel i be kraaaaaaavin this food, just said they more closed...
I went to cherry o to go for the first time today I had the cat fish Mac and collards, and everything was great I recommend this place for your go to soul food spot in a prime location. Markcus Ruffin said so.
My coworkers rave about this place so I had to tried it. We all love the food here! I love that you can place your order over the phone. The order taker is so patient and so sweet even though we have 4 orders sometimes. They don’t mind us splitting the bills and giving us the individual totals during the call.
