It’s a cute diner with very personable staff. The food is tasty and consistent.

Service wasn’t bad per se, but it was busy and they seemed understaffed so it was slow.

The food took a while to get to us and when it did, the Reuben had coleslaw on it…

The menu had the Reuben with the option to have it with turkey or corn beef and it says it comes with coleslaw but since a Reuben is a specific type of sandwich, I didn’t bother reading. BUT a Reuben where you swap the corn beef with turkey and sauerkraut with coleslaw is called a Rachel, so I didn’t imagine they would call a sandwich by a different name… so, BEWARE, the Reuben is not actually a Reuben.

The people with me said their food was fine, but probably not $16 for a sandwich fine.

The pancakes are good though.

We're local and although not regulars, I'll take my spouse her. They generally do well with our orders customer interactions. They have a good menu too. For some reason the cook likes to extremely over salt food. I don't know what's going on but it's happened two occasions same dish...(collards). I don't use sugar, my spota FBI had to hunt a sugar dispenser that wasnt fused solid! A bit of attention to detail goes long way!

Simple diner food, but certainly not amazing. Their omelets are fairly decent; as is the rest of the menu. Unfortunately, their take on chicken fried steak left me wondering who interpreted the recipe. What we should have gotten was a skirt steak pounded 1/4 to 1/2 and inch thick, battered, deep-fried, and covered in peppered white gravy. What we got was a deep-fried piece of sadness which was likely part of a boot from Goodwill, covered in a light-brown pasty glob of remorse which was only pretending to be gravy. All three servings were tough, with a beautiful brown crust, devoid of palatable flavor, and embarrassed at having been presented. Honestly, until you know how to cook something properly you should avoid exposing it to paying customers. Try again, D'Egg West. You can do better than this.

Cameron m I’m assuming that’s what it said on the check never got her name. Or silverware or a drink until I asked another employee… anyways back to her. She was more pre-occupied talking to friends then to check in with me at all or offer service. The food was ok today. But the service was subpar

Worst food i’ve ever eaten, sausage were hockey pucks that tasted like vegan “meat”, eggs were neon yellow and bland. Was made an $8 iced caramel latte with what tasted like the entire bottle of syrup was dumped into it. I took 2 sips and told the waitress to take it back, expecting it to be taken off the bill but their menu states “If the food is made properly, it will not be taken off the bill if you don’t like it”. That was properly made? Very telling that you need to put that in fine print on your menu. When the bill came we were handed an ink exploded pen that got all over us. Horrible service and food. The manager did not care to help us either.

Ordered biscuits and gravy and scrambeled eggs with cheese. I received folded eggs with a slice of cheese and a burnt biscuit. The eggs were gross and taste like whatever else has been on the grill and they use a red gravy not a white gravy for their biscuits and gravy.
