“I visited Playa Bowls while I was in town on Friday, September 4, and I was definitely not disappointed! The bowl I ordered was phenomenal, fresh, refreshing, and absolutely delicious.

My children attend Old Dominion University, and I really wish Playa Bowls were included as a meal exchange option. Having a healthy, refreshing choice like this available to students would be wonderful.

I also want to recognize the amazing staff working that morning. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Shatori stood out, she was incredibly patient with my son and took the time to answer all of his questions about the different bases and options. Ariana was working behind the register and was equally wonderful. She greeted us warmly, was kind and friendly, and made us feel very welcome.

There was also a third young lady working that morning whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, but she was just as kind and helpful and always had a big smile on her face.

I hope the owner and management know what a great group of employees they have. Excellent food and excellent customer service made this a great experience. Keep up the wonderful work! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town.“

Great food and great prices! My neice is Vegan and always looking for new things to try (she loved the brownie, not pictured). Would definitely come back. I got the small acia bowl and it was very filling, I cant imagine what the large size looks like!“

“I was in the Wards Corner area today and I decided to try Clean Eatz for the first time. I had the chocolate and peanut butter smoothie. The lady behind the register that it is her favorite smoothie because you can not go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate. She was so right because it was very good. I also had the good for you nachos.“

“This was my first time eating at Toastique. The Salmon Toast was delicious and reasonably priced Our Women 2 Women group met there and the staff was very accommodating.“

“I basically live in this shop, it’s a great family owned spot which definitely gives it a cozy vibe. They have everything you can think of for any health ailment you may be experiencing, and if they don’t, they are happy to order it for you! Everyone is so kind and helpful, I highly recommend to any one who is looking for herbs, natural wellness remedies/care, detoxing, maintenance of the body, toddler/children’s remedies, and much more!“
