I’m primarily disappointed in the cleanliness of the self serve areas of the restaurant. At 12 Noon on Monday, the beverage area and the milk/ half and half dispenser were filthy. There were napkins and paper goods that had fallen behind the silverware dispensers and littering the floor. Isn’t anybody cleaning and tidying up? It was disgusting! I can’t imagine it is already so messy after only two hours on a Monday when the store is quiet. This area should be spotless...
Everyone went shopping but me - bad leg. I stayed in a waiting are for several hours. Very comfortable couches and chairs. Found the snack area (not the full blown restaurant). Mostly self service and paying. Ok for quickie eats. Food was inexpensive and tasty with some quality specialties (Drinks and Swedish chocolate bars!). Good way to kill some time.
What a wonderful concept for Ikea to provide a cafeteria. Because the place is so large it makes sense to keep customers satisfied and sated, especially when shopping with small children. Ikea runs a clean operation. Even when the dining room seemed really busy we did not have any trouble finding a clean table to sit at.
