The ramen here is exceptional—deep, layered broth with just the right balance of umami and richness. The noodles have that perfect springy bite, and every topping feels intentional, not just added. It’s clear a lot of care goes into each bowl. Easily one of the best ramen experiences I’ve had outside of Japan.
Perfect experience!! Definitely a hidden gem in the heart of Ghent. Quick service, food was hot and presentation was great. The ramen felt so comforting and like it’s a specific recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation. Best Ramen in Norfolk!
My first time there and when I walked in, the place was very cute. Small and intimate. When me and the rest of the party were there, the whole time we felt rushed. Then when the food arrived, bowls and hands were all in my face. Just ask if someone can pass the plate to someone. No need to shove a bowl in my face to reach across the table. Some of my friends mentioned that they didn't receive the fishcakes nor the extra egg they asked for. That's extra, so I'm guessing...
