Honestly, I have had better mexican food, but overall it was a good experience. Service was fantastic. I wouldn't seek this place out specifically, but it was definitely a good option convenient to Chartway
We've been twice and weren't impressed either time. The food was fine, not spectacular. The carne asada was dry and we've had better. The margaritas seemed to come from a mix rather than being from scratch, and the classic Margarita tastes closer to a lemonade. The place also wasn't super busy which was surprising for a Friday night. We also felt the prices were high. My husband and I have never paid so much for Mexican food and we didn't order anything different from what we normally order at a Mexican restaurant, which was surprising with it being at ODU. However, the service is great and the wait staff is super friendly. Just wish we got a more than mediocre food and drinks for the price.
