Stopped here on our way back home from Virginia Beach, and I’m glad we did! The food was delicious, and the portions were big and filling. They have a barstool section as well as regular tables, so there’s plenty of seating. Our waitress was polite, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. Definitely a great spot to stop for some good food—I’d come back again!

My server was Joselyn, she did a phenomenal job from the moment I walked in. She treated me with hospitality and courtesy. The menu had many authentic dishes to choose from. I went with the mofongo with chicken in sauce it was spot on and brought me to my Puerto Rican roots. I had the honor of meeting the owner Alex and she treated me with care and respect. The atmosphere was definitely Latin & Caribbean vibes. I definitely will be returning. Thank you La Yaroa Tropical. 4.2⭐

Awesome service, flavorful food, spectacular vibe, loved it all! Cibelis was a great host and server, too notch customer service. Stewed chicken, spicy chicken empanades, sweet fried plantain, white rice and beans - SLAMMIN!!!! What a beautiful place....!!
