I found Lola's online and we met family there. The decor is fabulous and creates a wonderful atmosphere for dining. Having lived in Texas and New Mexico for 15 years, I was surprised by how good this food was. I believe it is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. We had the carnitas in red sauce, tortilla soup, cheese enchiladas, and tres leches cake for dessert. Everything was fantastic, even the corn tortillas. Lola's is truly exceptional. Got the chimchangas with beef and a side of rice
-crispy chimichanga shell
-beef was slightly overcooked but good
-cheese had a little more of a luqudiy consistency than I would've liked
-salad was good, but tomatoes needed more seasoning and I could've used a little more sour cream
-rice was amazing with cheese!
