This is one of the best McDonald's if not the best McDonald's that we have here in Norfolk. It's almost as if McDonald's set up a beta McDonald's store for the public to try out. Do you have the option of ordering on multiple touch screen panels a few feet away from the front counter or you can order traditionally from someone behind the counter. It's located not too far away from ODU and not too far away from the Ghent side of town. Yo if you're going to go to McDonald's you should go here... New update.. other McDonald's have upgraded to similar designs this McDonald's is having some service issues initially I rated it five stars it then went down to 3 now with today's visit... 2 stars. C'mon, do better

The only consistent thing about this McDonald’s on Hampton Blvd is that they take forever and mess up your order.

Management, please get your act together and fix whatever system you’re using that’s causing all of this confusion, both for customers and your poor employees who have to deal with this.

Also a “hot” coffee is supposed to be—guess what—HOT. My hot coffee was as cold as ice and they gave me no cream unlike what I ordered. Went back in and they gave me even worse coffee. This was the last straw after other visits where they forgot entire items in my order altogether.

Will never come back here again.

This place says it’s open 24/7, but I’ve come by around 2 AM and they don’t take orders. I waited behind a car for 10 minutes before realizing they were just ignoring the drive-thru.

This might be the longest I’ve ever waited for food. Let’s figure it out. Do better. This is a fast food line and it takes 45 minutes to get your food in the drive thru. Workers are lazy.

I had ordered a Classic Cheeseburger pack from here through the mobile app and went to go pick it up by drive thru. I noticed that I was missing 2 cheeseburgers so I had to go back to tell them that I was missing the two items from my order. They gave me the 2 cheeseburgers and I went straight home. Once I open them, one of them is missing their patty.

Never coming here again.

Parking: Sufficient number of parking spots available as this location is not busy.

Waited on my food forever. They were changing from breakfast to lunch so I can't be too displeased. The manager was super helpful. The place was clean and free of panhandlers. I'd eat here again.

I usually don’t write reviews but my experience at this McDonald’s was so bad that I must!

I get to McDonalds and line is out until the street. I waited in line for over 20 minutes for my mobile order.

They handed the wrong bag out of the window. Which is fine….
I kindly tell the employee this is the wrong order. They take the bag back in the window and I hand them the receipt also.

I accepted the bag of new food and drove away. I soon as I drove away I realize they forgot a sweet tea and mcchicken.

It’s 10pm and at this hour, all of the doors at this location are locked. So I cannot go inside to get my missing items!

I park my car and get my 4 year old son out of the car and walk over to the drive thru window. The employee working the window immediately yells thru the window “I can not help you thru the window”
I then tell her that I was just in the drive thru, had an order and two items were forgotten. She continues to yell “I can not help you thru the window” and I continue to say I was just in the drive thru line and two of my items were forgotten. She keeps yelling “I can not help you thru the window” then yells that I need to get back in my car and wait in the drive thru line to get this fixed. The line is still currently wrapped around the building and once again out into the street….

I was not getting back in the car and waiting in the line once again. I continue to say that I had two items forgotten from my order.

A manager comes over at this point and gives me my missing items.

This happened on the overnight shift and the manger on duty at this time was Erica. This joke of an employee needs to be fired.

I got went through the drive through around 12:15am on March 8th. Staff seemed nice. But the food they gave me is well Below edible.

Sucked slow workers. They were never taught to pull cars over to keep the drive thru going. They the worst training ever. Oh no training smh

horrible service, waited there 40 minutes before getting doordash order, asked 4 different times and got no response they just turned around like they were gonna grab it but never brought it out. never got an apology or explanation
