Amazing, no-nonsense pork barbecue. The smoked wings were crispy, tender, and smoky. Hush puppies were the perfect balance, moist yet crispy. Side of pecan pie was a perfect end to the meal.

I was met by a nice gentleman that went over the menu and made recommendations.. also, he had me try out his homemade barbecue sauce!! It was really good!!! It takes some time to get the order because of having to wait for French fries and hush puppies to cook.. I recommend this place!! Not great looking from the outside, but some of my best restaurants have had this same appeal!!

Cute place, large portions and great barbecue pork sandwiches. We had a piece of homemade pecan pie, with lots of pecans! They also make a homemade tomato vinegar sauce that's just delicious. We make this a regular stop when we come through Norfolk.

Me and my son come here every year when we are visiting family. The inside is what you would hope for in a hole in the wall BBQ joint. It's clean and the owner is friendly. We always stick with just Jumbo Sandwich combos. He has a wide array of sauces to use as well. Prices are comparable to similar places. I recommend this place for anyone that likes the mom and pop places over the chains.

Parking: There are about 6 spots to park, but I never had an issue.

My dad, Chuck Ridgeway, brought me here years ago and I fell in love with the wings! They’re smoked and deep fried, I can honestly say they have some of the best wings I’ve tried in my life. 10/10 I will always recommend!

Tired of the Thanksgiving fare, so stopped in with my daughter for lunch. DELICIOUS! We dined at the counter and had a nice chat with the owner. I'll be a regular!!

The BBQ was western style it was a tomato based sweet BBQ . I prefer Eastern style vinegar based. The meat was good. I got French fries, they were good they were the coated kind. All in all everything was good and I probably will be back.

genuine Virginia BBQ at it's best. wiih a 100 lb sack of home made cole slaw made daily.

The most wonderful ribs! Meaty, moist and cooked to perfection! Everything was delicious — the baked beans, potato salad, hush puppies and pecan pie. The sweet couple who own this place are not only the BEST cooks, they’re super nice too! I highly recommend you give Megallons a try!

Awesome...Simply awesome. The dry rub on the ribs was sufficient, but the sauce simply painted the proverbial peacock. Def going back for more!!! Can't wait!!!
