This is one of my favorite places in Norfolk. I couldn't have made it these long 5 years without the comfort and happiness that it brings me. The crowd is always sweet and respectful in the mornings and afternoon, making it a great place to bring the kids for a bite. The night life is always an amazing vibe and feels so fun to be in. I've never been to a bar that has felt safer and I really appreciate it. The owner is an amazing dude and super sweet to my kids and dog....
We had a very good time at MJs and will be back for mor for sure. The drink selection is just astonishing and the waiters are all very friendly. We tried some of the foods as well and they were good. Sometimes the music was a bit too loud for my taste, but that could be just me. Great place.
The food was good. We had an order of fish and chips, popcorn shrimp and tuna bites. Fish and chips was a big portion size. Our server was nice. We were visiting from out of town and prices were reasonable. There is an outdoor patio to eat along with indoor seating. There is a pool table inside and great music was playing. We went around 7pm and there was plenty of parking.
