I went here with my partner to celebrate her 21st. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun, the drinks were great, and the service was good. It was busy so I didn’t interact with the staff that much but they were friendly and as quick as they could be! We ordered the BBQ and a Chicken sandwich and unfortunately I cannot recommend either. The BBQ seemed to have mayo mixed in and was the texture of tuna salad. She got the chicken sandwich and didn’t enjoy it, and she found some...
This is one of my favorite places in Norfolk. I couldn't have made it these long 5 years without the comfort and happiness that it brings me. The crowd is always sweet and respectful in the mornings and afternoon, making it a great place to bring the kids for a bite. The night life is always an amazing vibe and feels so fun to be in. I've never been to a bar that has felt safer and I really appreciate it. The owner is an amazing dude and super sweet to my kids and dog....
We had a very good time at MJs and will be back for mor for sure. The drink selection is just astonishing and the waiters are all very friendly. We tried some of the foods as well and they were good. Sometimes the music was a bit too loud for my taste, but that could be just me. Great place.
