The food was pretty good, loved my burger and my wife loved her wings, but server let someone else walk out with my card and now I’m on the hook for over $100 on someone else’s tab. Management told me to dispute, bank claim got rejected due to lack of information, and I’ve been reaching out to try and get this resolved. If I lived out that way I’d just go and get it sorted out. Willing to bump review back up to how I honestly feel if y’all see this and wanna fix it.

A friend and I went to Mojo Bones to eat before attending the ODU v ECU football game yesterday. The atmosphere was "casual community "- with multiple TV screens for watching sports while eating. It's also wheelchair accessible . We both ordered the Bareknuckle Burger $9.99( two beef patties ,cheese and bacon on a soft bun). I had a *sizeable side dish of *fried pickles( about quarter size and with a really good crispy breading )with my burger.You get a lot of delicious fried pickles too. My burger was cooked the way I like it, which is well done without being crusty and burnt.The bacon was *well cooked , and not hard and tasteless like some can be. We definitely got our monies worth and more. I would eat here again. Afterwards, we had to go walk it off before attending the game. Good place for a casual meal.

MOJO Bones has lost their bones and no longer sells ribs! I was taken aback because the ribs at MOJO Bones have always been a hit. It seems that they ate focusing on alcohol and chicken wings which makes sense since it's on ODU's food stroll.

Understand this is a nice place for a college student typical microwave food that’s super affordable a very small selection of beers depending the day you are there great location very clean friendly staff just not my cup of tea but if you need to grab a quick drink prior to a show at the arena and a quick appetizer then I recommend. Based off the reply the owner is a tad upset with my review so let me clarify I received a chicken sandwich that was not good hence the microwave comment I do not drink light beers either but on that particular Saturday everything on the board was out of stock and there was limited selections your burgers might be phenomenal for all I know I received a dry chicken sandwich on a bun because what I wanted to order was again out of stock

Although this is a burger & beer joint as advertised here on Google Maps, and that's what I had last night elsewhere, I came here. Had the pulled pork sandwich (phenomenal), and a side of fried pickles (also phenomenal) paired perfectly with beers from the assistance of the bartender. Great beer selection, had a few and never the same but always good. Will be back, and trust me, that means something.

Dried out over cooked BBQ and Fries also I found the staff to be rude and unprofessional .
I got a sand-which for $15 and my fries were as salty as the nile river. The young lady behind the bar measured the fries and said i ate too many. Absolutely insane. Cheap service , cheap food, bad stomach ache. I would not suggest spending anymore

An extremely loud and obnoxious crowd flocks to this place every night. Normally though, I don’t care what people do in their free time. However, ODU thought it was logical to allow a bar directly below student apartments. Meaning you have to sit and listen to people scream at the top of their lungs while loud music plays all night. I write this now because I am in the process of recovering from a 30 minute excruciating screaming session just outside my window. Not really the business’ fault, but they don’t even try to control the rabid banshees’ ghastly screaming no matter how ridiculous it gets. If only someone told me before I have to pay thousands in tuition…Best of luck to the poor souls who work in there. I can only imagine…

Went here for a beer after a concert. It was super busy, but the bartenders were hopping. I was disappointed there were no IPAs on draft but I was able to get a good canned one. Inside, there was loud techno music playing when clearly everyone wanted to talk. I will say that the outside tables were nice and quieter and the pizza looked great!

This is a college bar… not a restaurant.We showed up at 6pm to eat dinner. Server asked “do you want food?” We said yes and ordered some sodas, she left us with menus. When we tried to order, the server informed us they are out of any fried chicken sandwiches and all boneless wings and pickles, this is half the menu. We reluctantly ordered being at the place and hungry. The fries were over cooked, the burgers were under cooked, the server literally ran out of the restaurant to go purchase buns for our order. The table was repeatedly out of drinks (we were the only table and people in the place). The atmosphere was weird because we were the only people in the place on a Friday night without music.This restaurant was recommended to us by our air bnb.
