You don't see many restaurants here where the cooking is done by an older couple who actually go visit their homeland and come back every year. This is a gem. Hungarian food was never something I had before but its now one of my absolutely favorite spots. White table clothes, dim interior, romantic and quiet. Unexpected.
Ate at the Monastery for the first time tonight. It won’t be the last! What a treat. Fabulous food cooked by the two owners. Very special. And great service from our server, John.

We had such a great experience here. Great food, great service, cozy atmosphere, and they were super patient with us even though we were a group of 6 with kids. We were shocked that we were able to walk in with no wait on a Saturday night! Highly recommend the goulash.
