I visited The Norfolk Botanical Garden when I lived in Norfolk, Va in 1971. I have very vivid memories of the beautiful Azaleas in full bloom. Such a pleasant and tranquil place to walk and see all of the creations of vegitation GOD & Jesus created.
That is one of my favorite places I visited back then.
Wonderful place. I wish I were in charge of its planning though.

There are do many ways to improve it. My biggest pet peeve is the redundancy of all the dedicated-benches. I know that sounds odd, but hear me out. All people do there is walk in a giant loop. They hardly, if ever, sit down and take it all in. You'll see there are so many empty benches.

The BG should orient its guest experience towards action... What is there to do...
Saw a YouTube video that included this garden and decided it was worth a visit. For once I was 100% correct. This is a real asset for the region and is very well executed. Purchased an annual membership so we can return often as there is too much to see in one visit. Also looking forward to enjoying the seasons here as gardens change throughout the year.
