Always have the best time at the botanical gardens!!! Norfolk truly has the best. Over 15 miles of trail and the membership is 100% worth it!! You get in for free to all the events year round- bee festival, fungi festival, dog day every Sunday, bike days, kayaking, splash pad ect.
Leaving this review specifically because of the person who was complaining behind me in line. She didn’t read that the tickets for the Corpse Flower viewing were timed to when to line up, not for when to view. We were told fairly early into the queue the wait was about 2 hours and this was accurate. She talked about leaving a bad review as soon as she heard that. Seems like she already left her negative commentary, so I’ll balance her out! There was ample seating...
The more I explore this place, the more I appreciate it. I've been going for years and still stumble across places that I have never been. My daughter loves to play in the water at the children's garden and the staff even ride around giving out free water on hot days. I recommend getting the family membership. It pays for itself.
