Dining out at new places can be very sketchy these days, but this place has set the bar high for many of its competitors! Hefty amounts of good fresh food! They just earned 5 stars! Would give 100 stars if I could!

Just happened to be in the area conducting work. I noticed the foot traffic from the neighborhood surrounding the smokehouse. I asked a couple of folks about this restaurant and they highly recommended it. I sincerely concur. I too will recommend to friends and family. Thank you, smokehouse for being so genuine!!

The food was amazing! Meat was tender and fell off the bone. They make all their own sauces. Mac and cheese was good. Can't wait to try some more of their menu items.

Stopped by for lunch as a first time customer. Ordered whole wing plate. Service was outstanding. I was shocked in how much 5 wings were at 17.00. wings were seasoned well, but on the dry side. Didn't taste much of a smoke flavor as indicated on menu. Sauce was flavorful. Parking is a challenge, not sure if I was supposed to park across the street in parking lot, but probably not.

My family and I tried this place for the first-time and there's what we thought. For starter anytime we try a place with good service we come back. The chef greeted our table with hush puppies which I don't care for but these were good. The server we had was very attentive to our needs and made hi I eat recommendations on the food. My son order the chicken alfredo another dish I don't like but sampled and it was delicious. I ordered shrimp and grits which were well seasoned not soggy and wet. The shrimp were a decent size too.
My youngest son had the seafood combo and it was good as well. My husband ordered the catfish and cabbage and smoked macaroni and cheese. So there's a few things that we didn't care for as much: First loved the fact that the food wasn't made with pork however the greens while seasoned was missing something and the bitter taste was a turn off. The mac and cheese was different but not the best I've ever had. The smoked taste in the cabbage didn't do I for me. The potatoe salad was more like mashed potatoes with the potato salad ingredients it needed aomething more maybe more relish onion amd maybe boiled eggs. Tge only reason they received 4 stars is because of the few things I mentioned and tye fact the my husband came there just after ooening time and they didnt have many things we actually came to try like ox tails and green beans just to name a few. Other than this we will return everyone deserves a second chance. Oh Thursdays is military discount day. Go check them out they are worth a try.

Had been wanting to try this place since I first saw they were open and I'm so glad to have had the opportunity! I'm not a fan of hush puppies normally, but their's were so good! Ordered the brisket with mashed potatoes and collard greens and just off the strength of the sides alone, I recommend this place! The collards were super well seasoned and the mashed potatoes were deliciously fluffy. The brisket was super tender and I'll most certainly be back for more! After I eat my way through the rest of the menu ??

So I DoorDash their gumbo to a family member house. I tried and my family member tried the gumbo. It was okay but didn’t have much sausage or chicken it was like we just got roux and rice. Dissapointed.
