4 stars. Bar staff were awesome, drinks were cheap, sound was great for a dive. The band killed it. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is the 5 or so guys who spent the entire set crowd killing—like, exclusively targeting the edges and corners, not dancing, just swinging. I ended up with a bruised back from being pushed into the bar, which sucked because the rest of the crowd was just trying to have a good time. Come for the music, stay at the bar to stay safe....
Great place for some quick beers. We were there at about 4:30 so it was quite empty. The bartender (Parker?) was friendly and gave us some tips on the town. We didn't have any food.
One of the best burger-fry combos in town. It is a freshly made, picturesque, monicre that lives rent free in your brain. If you were the last human on earth, and aliens asked you what a burger and fries taste like, this place would be MY go to. Bring a group, or come alone, the bar itself has a rustic, eclectic sense of island time that attracts a friendly crowd from all walks of life. Good vibes, good drinks, GREAT FOOD.
