Used debit card, to pay for meal. Checked account 2 hours later and saw a charge for grubhub. Hostess stole my info for her gain of a free meal.

They make good sushi and ramen, if you’re in an alternate universe where sushi and ramen is the act of standing in the front for 20 minutes waiting to get seated.

This place is awful. Do not waste your time, terrible service. Multiple open tables and a line of 10 people minimum. Seemed like the prioritize take out orders cause at least 5 different people came through and picked up orders before anyone was sat. The Mexican place across the street is amazing. The skinny spicy marg is delicious!

We were 1 of 2 tables there, When my food arrived it was cold. The eggs seemed like they were just taken out of the fridge. My broth was also cold. It did not seems fresh. We added extra mushrooms and eggs , were charged for them and never received them. The service was terrible, he didn’t refill our drinks once, or even ask. He gave us the check 5 minutes after we received our food and didn’t ask us if we wanted to-go boxes, or dessert. Didn’t come back to pick up the check we had to pay at the counter.

I don't often leave reviews but ive been to this place twice now both times the sushi is so gross my sushi was warm and really salty. If you want sushi there is a sushi joint down the street called diawa its way better in like every way. Better priced ,better food the owner is a cool dude.

My friend and I walked in around noon and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Several staff members were walking around but completely ignored us—they appeared to be hiding behind the bar, playing on their phones. We tried to get their attention a few times, but no one acknowledged us, so we eventually walked out. A woman who came in after us ended up leaving too. If that’s how customers are treated, it’s not worth my time or money. I do not recommend this place.

I'm from out of state so maybe this is just me being paranoid, but maybe it should be common place to acknowledge that you have somebody in the restaurant. Our server spent more time talking to her friends and forgot to bring us multiple things, we had to ask multiple times just to get boxes. Probably spent more time waiting on my waiter than actually eating. Food is good for what it is, but very poor service.

Let me start off by saying SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO ACROSS THE STREET TO THE MEXICAN RESTAURANT. They have wonderful drinks and great food WITH great and TIMELY service. We went here looking to get some ramen because it closer to home and the other Osaka by Chesapeake had much better reviews. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to sit and order because NOBODY acknowledged our presence. We get being understaffed or busy but there was NO ONE in the restaurant on Memorial Day. That is certainly not an excuse to provide ZERO customer service. We waited and saw one person walk out from the back, look at us, and said NOTHING to us only to go disappear. I rang the chimes at the door to be sure they originally heated us, waited, and then I called out TWICE with no response from a server. I’m sure the one group of diners were the ones that answered saying “they’re here.” Start acknowledging your customers as they walk through the door and maybe people will be more willing to dine in and wait. Otherwise why would yall have chimes that tell you when a customer comes in if you’re not gonna utilize it??? Terrible service and according to other reviews we dodge a bullet on the cleanliness, quality of food, and customer service.

Never tried the food. Walked in and there was nobody at the desk. Waited 5 minutes before I rang the chimes again and called out for service. Another 5 minutes went by and all you can hear is the workers just giggleling and cackleling. There were no other customers there. 2pm on a Monday.
We went across the street to the Mexican restaurant and got seated immediately.

Sushi was dry and lots of thick chewy parts in the rolls. Sushi chef was watching tik toks extremely loud the entire time and staring at my date and I. Use to be a nice place but this is so awkward and the taste isn't even worth it. I dont reccomend. Just drive to the chesapeake location where the staff actually wants to be there.

As I was eating my food this is what I kept looking at and there was trash all over. The food was okay and nothing special.

Came in twice; first time solo second time I brough some coworkers. I ordered the Tokyo and the Okatsu ramens - they were a good.

The server I had was great - when you were acknowledged. I showed up at 1135 since they open at 1130 and I was told they would need another 20 mins. I came back that evening and had supper. Server was great and the Ramen was solid.

Came back two days later with coworkers - two staff behind the counter making no eye contact, no greeting, nothing just looked up and went back to their phone. Just say hi we'll be with you in a minute. We all enjoyed the Ramen and the server was fast.

The place has boxes everywhere, it looks rundown, and the seating sometimes needs another wipe. If not for the food and that one server I would not have come back with others.
