Decided to come in after shopping on a cold day. I was told to sit whenever, yet all the tables were dirty. 🤷🏻♀️
The table was cleaned promptly, but I sat for 10-15 minutes without anyone coming to give me a menu, take my order, nothing. Disappointed to say the least.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!! this used to be my favorite location, but ever since the new staff, it has been nothing short of a nightmare of a restaurant. Employees don’t have any regards to the customers, can’t even order my usual order because they only do large pho’s for to-go?? gaslighted me saying they NEVER allowed other pho sizes to-go before; my receipts from orders months ago say otherwise. tables sticky, roaches, and the workers just slack off, absolutely terrible now.

I love pho and decided to try Pho 79. I placed a take out order at the restaurant, and it was about $30. A little high for soup and spring rolls, in my opinion. The problem was, it took 45 minutes for my food to get made! When I made a comment, he waved at the kitchen, which I took to mean there was a problem in the kitchen. Once I tasted the pho, what a disappointment. The broth had very little taste. I had to add the Sriracha and hoison packets they included, and it tasted better, but not great. They charged for the take out container and when I got to my hotel, I realized I was going to have to find a bowl to put the pho in because the way it was packaged, there wasn't anyway to eat it. I did have a bowl, it if didn't, I would not have been able to eat. I would not recommend

Food was ok but either they are understaffed or they just absolutely suck at making food… The place was basically empty and I ordered 1 pho bowl and boba to go….. it took them over thirty minutes to get my food out. Definitely not wasting my time here again.

Out of all the pho 79’s, and I’ve been to MANY of them around the city, this and the one on Ghent are my absolute favorite. I refuse to go anywhere else. I love to get the #1 Pho Tai, Iced Thai tea with boba, and of course Vietnamese spring rolls!

Great food! I came in 45 minutes before they closed and they were so fast. They clearly opened recently and are still figuring things out, I do wish there were more limes and sauce options. But all in all would recommend

Came in an hour after the place opened. I was then told 20 minutes after ordering that the owner needed to bring in more noodles. Left before even trying the food. How do you run a pho restaurant and not have noodles?

I just moved from Vietnam, Saigon, where I’ve lived for the last 2 years
My husband is also Viet and we crave some Vietnamese coffee and Bánh Mì sandwiches from time to time
We decided to give a try to this place
And I’ll tell you that this is not an authentic Bánh Mì
The bread isn’t a baguette that needs to be used (at least, they use absolutely different crunchy fluffy one in Vietnam, look at the second pic as a reference)
The taste is still good, but it disappoints me that they don’t serve authentic sandwiches that are sooo good and make people fall in love with Vietnamese cuisine
+ they are very shy about giving you a good amount of meat
P.S.: please, train your staff to inform the customers that they order is ready
We’re waiting for our food that , turned out, has been already cooked but no one told us about it for a while
(We had it to go)
