Plate Me Please Seafood & Bistro/Bar

Today was my first time trying this restaurant. The food was simply amazing. Keep up the great work.

When you order there food on door dash it's very nasty I only had good food once and since then it's been very nasty crab cakes, yams, and broccoli I will not order anything else from them

Crab balls are on point! They pulled up to our school and served us faithfully! Allow them to serve the staff at your business location!

WORST SOULFOOD EVER. First & LAST time eating here. The fish? Supposed to be boneless but still had hella bones in it! The shrimp? Overcooked greasy & soggy!!! My shrimp look so dark & wet I couldn’t eat any after just one bite. The cornbread? Not sweet at all & wasn’t even finished baking, tasted doughy. The greens? Flavorless & seasonless. They tasted canned like ewww! Surprising to me because I called BEFORE PLACING MY ORDER ONLINE & WAS TOLD IT WAS SEASONED WITH TURKEY. Yet NO TURKEY IN THE GREENS! The Mac & cheese? Bland, dry, & clumped together. Probably wasn’t even fresh. I spent over $30 here & the food was horrible. I’m so disappointed in my experience, I can’t believe I was served such disgusting food. Yall should be ashamed of yourself!!!

Great food good atmosphere

Despite being told earlier in the week that the business would be open for Easter, my family went out for Brunch only to find a handwritten sign stating that the place was closed due to maintenance

I just wanted to share and recommend Plate Me Please Seafood because it is “off the chain good”!!!! I really was headed to Shrimp Shack to get me a couple of plates of Fish and Shrimp, but I had to run to Wal-mart to get some stuff, and that is when I saw the long line of customers by this food truck. So, I decided to get out of my car and go check it out, when, I saw that it was selling seafood, I told myself “Mr. Joe” (that’s my name), you have to check this out. It’s smell really good and the prices looked reasonable. You have to use their QR code to get to their menu…So, I decided to get my seafood from this truck and I am SO GLAD THAT I DID!!! The cook (Ms. Margaret), cooked my whole meal from scratch in about 5 minutes…and her daughter Ms. Adrienne rung me up real quick while she was telling me about her Seafood Restaurant at 7105 Sewells Point Road, Norfolk, VA 23513-1813. I grabbed my two plates and when I got home, I had to fight off my daughter because she wanted more food!! I think that I might have to go back tomorrow and get me some more plates, because, I really don’t want to hear my Wife and daughter mouths!!!

Went to the food truck they had right here on Main Street Walmart parking lot! I wish I had went in Walmart and got the rotisserie chicken instead! I waited 10 min to order then I place my order for fish fries and hush puppies! Well I got my food after another 10-12 min and the fish was not hot can tell it might have been fried earlier then rewarmed smh. Fries had not even a pinch of salt nothing! I had to come home and throw it in the air fryer!! I will say the two small hush puppies I had was good and my orange Fanta ! But that will not bring me back NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND $21 on this place 🤦🏽‍♀️

I went there at 12:30pm. The sign displayed open but the server stated that they were not accepting anymore guests. This was on Sunday. Brunch was supposed to be from 11am-3pm.

This was our first visit to Plate Me Please, and the service was excellent. We ordered the catfish dinner, which was absolutely delicious, along with the green beans and Mac and cheese. We also had the pleasure of being served by Kee Kee, who made the experience even more enjoyable. For us, great customer service combined with delicious food is exactly what keeps us coming back, and we’ll definitely be visiting often.

My mother and I decided to stop in here after I had arrived yesterday to Virginia from Colorado to see my stepdad in the hospital. I was looking for a nice place for some seafood and I'm so glad we stopped! Vee went above and beyond to assist us despite having some challenges with being alone by himself with no support crew, having to handle everything. Vee cooked us both some delicious seafood, was very kind and courteous, and thoughtfully attentive. He was a great host and if I was his boss I'd recommend him a raise!! Wishing him all the best!!

This place should be closed 4ever. I came for brunch and it took 1 hour to get my first plate. Not to mention the order was wrong and the food was cooked in old grease. My 2nd order took 2 hours to come. So while waiting I asked for a to go plate and I was fed up with waiting so decided to just go. The waitress caught me as I was preparing to leave. Order wasn't really anything I asked for but i was just happy to leave. Worst place I've been to so far. I'll rather go the nearest corner store rather than wait 3 hours for a hood meal

Food is horrible she crab soup in nasty very oily and salty, crab cake has a funny taste ,greens taste like straight out the can no seasoning, mac-cheese was ok 🧂 never again will be buying from there......
