I had the catfish and shrimp dinner and wife had the catfish and fries with an additional 6pc fried chicken wings. Food was very salty to the point of almost being inedible. Side of collard greens I had was the opposite and had no seasoning at all. Portion sizes were very generous. Was never offered anything to drink by the staff. They did have some lemonade and tea available, but you could clearly tell it was some drink mix and had way too much sugar. Place is extremely small...
I just wanted to share and recommend Plate Me Please Seafood because it is “off the chain good”!!!! I really was headed to Shrimp Shack to get me a couple of plates of Fish and Shrimp, but I had to run to Wal-mart to get some stuff, and that is when I saw the long line of customers by this food truck. So, I decided to get out of my car and go check it out, when, I saw that it was selling seafood, I told myself “Mr. Joe” (that’s my name), you have to check this out....
I got the fried catfish, collard greens, and mac and cheese from Plate Me Please, and everything was really good. The catfish was cooked just right, the collard greens were full of flavor, and the mac and cheese was seriously good. The vibe of the restaurant was really charming too — good atmosphere, good energy, and just a nice place to sit and enjoy some good food. Definitely a place I’d come back to again!
