WOW! One of, if not THE BEST boil in Norfolk and VB. When I lived in Norfolk, my wife and I came here atleast once a month and got a per item boil with 5 or 6 things to share. We never tried the specials but the per item is unbeatable, you pick a lb or half pound of 12 or so items and they steam it all together to give you a very well cooked, insanely flavorful, and fresh bag of it all. We were in town and went to Chix Beach yesterday, just to drive 30 minutes the next day to...

Great atmosphere and happy that they didnt have the music blasting. GREAT service, HOWEVER, the weekend boil bag was $15 more than our usual place and a lot smaller. Flavor was good. We weren't aware they had a crab cracker available until we saw it on someone else's plate. My hubby was trying to get crab out with a fork. It would have been nice to have a crab cracker. The fried Hokkaido cod was very mushy and under cooked. Probably frozen as they came in diamond...

This was my first time going to the store and let me tell you I was not disappointed.... I got fried crabs and it was very delicious.... My friend who lives there in VA hadn't had fried crabs in a while and even he said the batter was outstanding.... I went back the next day and lord behold the lady recognized me from the day before..... This will be and along with my company that experience it will always go back.... Great job Red Crab
